About this project
So I was given the chance to have my first photo exhibition - Problem is the time frame and I can't come up with all this money. If you guys could help, even if it's a $1 dollar, it would mean the world. The bar/lounge Vig27 in NYC donated the space - Show is TBD, but it's set for Thursday Dec. 16th. 2010
I plan to show 12 photos, it's all music inspired - All 12 musicians (names below), in one way or another have been a motivation. The 11 out of 12 are live performances with the exception of "Chris Garneau", singer/song writer based out of Brooklyn, NY, which I had the pleasure of collaborated with on the photo shoot. Which is an example of the kind of work I want to work towards.
I love shooting concerts & party/nightlife is alright ... but by having this showing, I'm sure it will help me step out of that box and really show my capabilities.
The 12 photos will be of ...
- Chris Garneau - Bjork - Britney Spears - Fischerspooner - Kelis - Kylie Mingoue - La Roux - Lady Gaga - Madonna - Peaches - Robyn - Scissor Sisters
The money that is pledged to this project will go to:
- Printing the photos on to canvas (and hopefully getting customs fame's as well). All 12 photos will be 30x20, hopefully.
- Paying out special guest artist (these are artists/musicians that I’ve worked with in past) It would be a thrill if I could have them be a part of this event. So yes, small performance, hopefully.
-Printing booklets, highlighting the photos and info on the photo exhibition.
What is left over will go towards future photo projects. I’ve actually already started production on and hope to show again in spring 2011. First shoot set for beginning of Dec.
::BTW - I HAVE NEVER PRINTED OR SOLD MY PRINTS! So ... if your one of those backers who give a little extra, those prints are LIMITED!!!!!!!::

PS - Just a heads up, how the pledging works - You pledge whatever amount you can help with and at the end of the pledge date, you will get an email asking for the amount, which you will have to charge on a credit/debit card via Amazon.com.

All I could really say is ... I started at 17th, just shooting favorite concerts, never thought anything about it. Only thing that I could recall is that I had a passion for working with talented & creative people. I was pretty much set on that.
Now 12 years later, here I am, starving! But doing it!
