About this project
Missing Galaxy is a collection of songs about life. Included are songs about babies in the womb, adoption, abortion, and an original recording of a song my dad wrote for me in 1981. Also is a song I wrote for my son, that I sang to him after he was born.
I've been working on this project since early 2008. The majority of the recording has been done. We've spent about $5000 already. We still have about $3500 dollars worth of work left. Below is a more detailed break down of the costs and the track titles.
Cost List:
Recording a cello track - $250
Recording an Acoustic Lullaby - Studio Time - $200
Transferring an old 1/8 reel to digital format. $100
Mixing the CD - $1000
Mastering the CD - $500
Duplication of 1000 copies of the album & Posters of the Album Art - $1400

PRIVATE HOME CONCERT EXPERIENCE: I will come to YOUR house and play an acoustic show for you and a group of your friends. I'll even help cook dinner (key word: "help." My skills are most useful if you are cooking pancakes, making basic omelets, or looking for an entertaining "chopping guy." I'll even wear an apron.) (Cost includes my travel within 100 miles of Charlotte. Allow 8-12 weeks for scheduling; private concert may have to fall on a weekday).
