Thank you for becoming informed about this project. Please know that without YOUR encouragement and constant support I wouldn’t have made it this far.

The production of an album, from conception to release, is an exciting and often overwhelming task. From studio sessions, manufacturing, publicity, and tour management, an artist is met with several financial challenges in order to deliver their music to you.

Over the past several years, there's been a shift in the music industry. Advances in technology, including the way we communicate have empowered independent artists, giving us a chance to create opportunities that were before off limits.

In the past, artists would generally rely on the support of a label to help fund their projects. Without this kind of representation independent artists have to pay for the production and in most cases up front. However, it's always been the fans who have dictated the failure or success of a record no matter who is driving the bus.

As many of you know I have relocated to Nashville and am in the process of making my second full length album. My good friend Matt Urmy is co-producing it with me and without his help none of this would have happened and for that I am forever grateful.

On March 22, 2010 I entered Eastwood Studios in East Nashville owned and operated by Eric Fritsch. That day six songs were recorded and tracked live with full band arrangements featuring talented musicians Kenny Vaughan, Dave Jacques, Derek Mixon, and Reggie Bradley Smith. Jonell Mosser makes a vocal appearance on the album, too!

Drums, keyboards, bass, guitars and vocals were all performed and captured live. These days this is seldom seen or heard of, but this was the way I wanted to do it. Performing with such gifted musicians makes this part of the job incredibly easy.

Originally I intended to make this project a six song EP, but with all the positive feedback these songs were instantly receiving I felt compelled to go back into the studio and record four more to make it a full length album! On January 10, 2011 these songs were captured in the same fashion as the six prior, live and in the moment.

The main reason for the gaps in between both recording dates and even now with post production is that I am solely financing this album and it hasn't been that easy. Delaying this project any longer may actually kill me! I couldn't be more excited about releasing this music to you and when you finally get to hear it you will understand why.

I am very happy to partner with Kickstarter, with the specific goal of raising $5,000 to help fund the post production of this new release. I feel this is a number we can reach, but please keep in mind we only have 30 days to do it!

If the amount is not raised within this time frame ALL contributions will be refunded! Please remember this!! Basically when you purchase one of these packages you will not be charged until December 14th, but ONLY if the campaign is successful. Kickstarter uses Amazon for all payment, so if you have an Amazon account this will be an incredibly fast process, but if not don't worry because it will still be really easy.

Every dollar of that this campaign raises goes to the manufacturing of all CD's, 180 Vinyl Records, and all of my 2012 merchandise supporting this album.  With the funds raised I will finally be able to have posters, stickers, pins, and shirts that you all have been requesting!

I have come up with some very special Reward Packages for you to show my appreciation for your contributions. From pre-release downloads, Limited Edition posters and 180 Gram vinyl records to house concerts and even the clothes off my back. I have spent a lot of time creating very unique bundles that are very personal and special. There are even a couple 'one of a kind' rewards! Please take the time to look over them and see which one's for you!

Obviously, the Rewards for you contributions will not be ready immediately because I need to make them first. Production can only begin if this campaign is successful. If the goal is met then you can start looking for some of your Rewards as early as January 2012!!!

This project is closing in on an amazing two year adventure and the time has now come to finish it so I can finally share it with YOU!
