As many of you know, I have never been signed to a major record label as a member of the Kenoly Brothers or as a solo artist. Everything that has been done has been done by faith. Kickstarter gives me the opportunity to pre-sell my new CD. Why So Much & What Is It For?
Good question! This money will be solely for the production and release of the CD. I plan on this CD having a very strong influence of live musicianship as well as skilled sequenced production; and everyone who works with me will be paid, "a workman is worth his hire." But not only do the musicians need to be paid: the recording engineer, the producer(s), mixing engineers, mastering engineers, PR, radio, copyright registrations, etc. It isn't enough to simply make a CD - I want to do it right! Every dollar will be spent making the best project possible; and if you're in doubt just ask my family, friends, and fans - they'll vouch for me!:-)
When Is The Official CD Release?
All the songs on this CD have already been written and arranged (Yay)! So it's simply a matter of raising the funds and then hitting the studio. I plan on the CD to be ready for an early fall release (if not sooner)!
