About this project
Brooklyn Rocksteady: The Roots, The Scene & The Culture is an exploration of NYC Ska and Rocksteady music since 1981 up until 2011, including interviews from members of The Toasters, The Slackers, The Pietasters, Westbound Train, Victor Rice, The Forthrights, Royal City Riot, The Hard Times, The Frighteners and more!
Your donations will go to fund the rental of equipment and help to cover travel expenses for myself to document big events this year involving these bands outside of the NY area. Your support is amazingly appreciated, thank you.
*** Note: My camera broke, and although I have reached my goal, any additional donations would be extremely appreciated as I need to purchase a new one, and that's going to put a huge dent in the budget that I had made when I put this kickstarter up. Thank you all so much for your generosity <3 ***
