I've got to admit it... this feels a bit crazy.  Huge steps of faith usually do.  We're trying to raise $5,000 in 15 days.  For real.  Here's why...

Trust, Hope, & Intimacy: a few of the major themes God's been teaching us this year.  Our debut CD, "Songs from the Hope Farm", was a success in what it was intended to be: documentation of where we had began ("Never Cease to Sing" was the first worship song I'd written), with a hint of where we were going ("Wandering Heart" being the newest song on the CD) - songs written mostly within the context of a small youth group on St. Simons Island, based out of the themes we had been studying and praying through as a movement.  I equate that CD to the first mark you make on a door when measuring your child: I'm very proud of it, but we've come a long way since then.

This past year has brought many changes. We're not just writing for our youth group, nor only for my church, but to serve the church at large, which is why these songs have all been co-written with other worship pastors with a heart to do the same.  To help make the best use of God's gifts, the time I've been given, and to have the greatest Kingdom-impact, I've partnered with worship pastors from Atlanta, Tampa, Pennsylvania, South Carolina & New Jersey to join my heart and mind with other creatives in the church, crafting a batch of songs that can both glorify God and serve all of our congregations corporately. "Songs from the Hope Farm" was primarily a collection of songs that blessed my friends and I - "Morning will Come" is to be a collection of songs to encourage the whole body of Christ.

We've picked 6 songs:

Don't want to get over You (Shannon Lewis & David Walker)

Your Will (Shannon Lewis, Gary Durbin, & McKendree Tucker)

Trinity (Shannon Lewis, McKendree Tucker, & Aaron Keyes)

Wandering Heart (McKendree Augustas remix)

"Your Mighty Hand" is going to be produced by Trey Roth, who has worked with Fee ("All because of Jesus", "Glorious One", & "Glory to God Forever"), John Waller ("While I'm Waiting"), and Shane & Shane, among others.  If we raise over our budgeted amount, we will explore recording "Joy in the Morning" with Trey as well. In support of "Your Mighty Hand" we'll also be recording a music video with iMintMedia.  "Don't want to get over You'" and "Your Will" I will self-produce like much of the last CD. "Trinity" and "Wandering Heart" will be put in the excellent hands of my brother-n-law, McKendree, who's written, performed with, and produced for SonicFlood, Audio Adrenaline, Bethany Dillon, and Britt Nicole, among others.  The whole project will be mastered by the same company that does all of Coldplay's CDs.  That's just to say, that even on a - comparatively, shoestring budget - I'm not cutting corners.  I want to be a good steward of these songs.

The entire budget for the project, minus printing cost and art design will be around $5,000.  We're looking for people who believe in us or our vision who might consider helping us bring this project to light.  I'm hoping that might be you.
