Update #9: End of the Line
Howdy!
Well, its been a fun ride but it seems that there is only a few days left for the fundraiser leg of our journey. I want to thank everybody that donated to the cause and express how much it has meant to me personally to get as much support as I did for this project, you all are beyond awesome! and though it seems we won't meet our ambitious kickstarter goal, do not fret, we will still be pressing forward with the pilot episode of Epic Abraham in 1 minute installments in the near to immediate future...so keep those eyes peeled. With that said, here is the final post, a fast paced preview of the scenes we have worked on over the past few months. It's been fun and thanks so much again for your support and interest in Epic Abraham and look for us at New York Comic-con!
Cheers!
Joseph Ryan
Update #8: Something wicked this way comes
Monsters! Ghosts! Demons and Ghouls! Here is a peek at some of the creatures and spirits that haunt the world of Epic Abraham. While a big chunk of the story deals with the barbaric nature of men during the middle of the 1800's, an even bigger chunk is dedicated to the superstitious beliefs of the time period. This was a time when people were afraid of what might lurk in the woods and ghost stories were told around every camp fire. So here is a handful of harpies, hungry ghosts, rampaging ogres and other unsavory monstrosities of the nefarious American back woods.
Update #5: Albatross
Here is a quick peek at a scene we worked on earlier in the week concerning the origins of Abraham and his rescue from an Australian convict colony in the midst of a famine fueled uprising.
