I have a line of absurd apparel which I call Donkeyshines. The designs usually feature animals is strange situations, or in unexpected contexts. Recently, I created an illustration of a poison dart frog with cute lil' skull-shaped spots. I'm excited about this design, and intend to print it on a super-soft, high-quality ringspun cotton t-shirt. To make this happen, I need your help!

I need to raise $900 to cover screen printing costs for a small 100-shirt run, plus the shipping costs for your rewards. There are some fun prizes in it for you if you decide to help out!

Five Bucks

For a tiny $5 donation, you'll get a Poison Dart Frog 4" x 6" postcard. I will send it to you in a separate envelope so that you can mail out the postcard to someone else if you choose.

Ten Bucks

For a small $10 donation, you'll get a one-of-a-kind piece of original art!  I'll spend approximately 30-60 minutes sitting in front of an 8.5" x 11" piece of printer paper drawing whatever happens to pop into my brain, maybe while watching TV or listening to music. The drawing could turn out to be pretty much anything, but it will likely be some sort of animal or monster. Drawings I'm particularly fond of may be posted on my blog to be shared with the world, but you get the original all to yourself. Here are some examples of what you might expect to see:

Fifteen Bucks

For $15, you can be the first to get the Poison Dart Frog T-Shirt! It will retail for $16.99, so not only will you save a whopping $1.99 off the t-shirt price, but you won't have to pay shipping (within the USA)! Note: Since I'm only printing 12 shirts per size, I had to put a limit on this reward.

Twenty Bucks

For $20, you'll get one free t-shirt from Donkeyshines. Pick any T-shirt from my store, and I'll have it shipped to you. Here are some examples of my current designs:

Fifty Bucks

For $50, I will sketch a portrait of you in graphite (pencil) on 8.5" x 11" drawing paper! Actually, the portrait can be of anyone you want, as long as you can send me a high quality photo reference. I can even draw your pet. What do I mean by high quality reference? Not too dark, not too light, face has to be big enough, it shouldn't be blurry, out of focus etc. I'll only be drawing the face, so it should mostly be a close-up of the face.

One Hundred Bucks

For $100, I will paint a portrait in watercolor on 9" x 12" watercolor paper. As with the pencil portraits, the subject can be pretty much anyone as long as you provide a decent photo reference.

Two Hundred Bucks

For $200, I will paint a portrait in acrylic on an 11" x 14" wooden panel!
