RIP VAN WAFELS - It's quite simple really. I make stroopwafels and people say they are amazing. I need your help to expand my waffle cookie business.
To start I need $22105 to produce 7000 wafels/week and setup wafel truck.
ABOUT: In The Netherlands, Dutch waffle cookies called 'stroopwafels' have been consumed since the late 1700's. Today the stroopwafel is as popular to the Dutch as chocolate chip cookies are to Americans.
Although stroopwafels are imported into the US, they are best when consumed fresh. There is nothing quite like it really - Eating a fresh stroopwafel - Experiencing the taste of the unique soft caramel-crunchy waffle combination in your mouth....especially with a cup of coffee.
MY VISION: I want bring the stroopwafel culture to the US. I aim to make the best tasting fresh stroopwafels there are, both packaged and served hot.
THE PAST: I spent the last two years developing and selling my product locally in Providence, RI. During the time, a team of Brown engineers and I also made a prototype cookie machine that can churn out 200 cookies/hr:

a) Package my cookies and sell them to cafe's and on the internet
b) Set up a mobile stroopwafel truck and sell them hot off the iron
FUNDING:
I have funded my operations thus far from company profits, money saved from summer internships and part time jobs. Now that my funds have been depleted, I am in dire need of funding.

The more money I raise, the less dependable I will have to be on investors. The more independent I am, the more control I will have over the quality and authenticity of my product . The better my product is, the more satisfied you will be!!!
