The Final Kickstarter Update (for now...)
Dear Backers,
As you all undoubtedly have gathered by now, the record is done, and the summer tour is over. Russ and I are back at SUNY Purchase for our final months as students. David Summers (bass) and Louis Weeks (that other guy from tour) are doing the same at their respective Washington D.C. and Maine schools. But the fun's just starting!
Russ and I are in the process of booking a string of New York shows for later this Fall. Expect to see our name in lights at such venues as Pete's Candy Store (Brooklyn), Rockwood Music Hall (Manhattan), SUNY Purchase Co-op (guess where...) and others, including a hopeful show at Bowdoin College in Maine.
And lastly, a matter of business. I wanted to make sure that every person who backed our project received the "reward" they were expecting to receive. If you did not, PLEASE email us at russbarrnett@gmail.com letting us know. We will hook you up.
Thank you all again for your pledges. The experience of creating this album, and taking it 600+ miles up the coast, was simply the best. It would not have been the best without your support. I really hope you like it!
