Cowboy Creed is an authentic period Western short film by writer/director Ben Alpi, producer J.T. Tepnapa and cinematographer David Berry. These boys met while working on the award-winning Star Trek: Phase II series and now they're hooking up their wagon train and headin' west. And with multiple webisodes, shorts and a feature in distribution, they know how to get the job done. With them will be a great crew, cast, including JOHN CARRIGAN, TARA PLATT, DOUG DREXLER and ANTHONY DE LONGIS, and artists, including composer JOE TERRANA!
Enter a world of cowboy sensibilities and frontier justice, action and adventure! Our story is about Phineas who must risk his life to save the woman he loves. An international criminal nicknamed “Limey” has kidnapped Miss Graves leading to the greatest showdown Phineas has ever faced.
WHAT WE NEED: Cowboy Creed is a unique and ambitious story. We’ll have all the classics: trusty steeds, fancy gun play, crazy stunts and wild locations. That means we’ll need a hefty amount of gold for travel, horses, pyrotechnics, props, costumes and insurance. That makes YOU key to making this film an authentic Western.
We have some very fine rewards to offer you too, depending on your level of backing. Included in that is a signed DVD or HD DIGITAL DOWNLOAD (alas, we can't sign it, but it's HD!) of the finished film, signed prints OFFICIAL POSTER, an autographed limited edition SKETCHBOOK of the film’s concept art, actual PROPS from the film and more!
IT'S ALL OR NOTHING FUNDING! This project will only be funded if we meet or exceed our goal! When you become a backer, your pledge is logged and not charged unless our goal is reached. If we are successful, Kickstarter will charge your pledge amount securely through Amazon Payments once our drive has concluded.
Once the film is complete, Cowboy Creed will be storming film festivals around the world, reviving the spirit of the West!

BEN ALPI - WRITER/DIRECTOR
Growing up in wintry upstate New York, Ben daydreamed of far-away lands and built epic snow forts. Now in Los Angeles, he brings his imagination and creativity to film. Ben's work has been on the big screen, on TV and the Web. His short 'Silver Lining' was signed into broadcast and into distribution. On the award-winning 'Star Trek: Phase II,' he was a producer and second unit director for "Blood and Fire," "Enemy: Starfleet," and "The Child." Ben was also second unit director for the feature-length documentary 'American General: Benedict Arnold.' (And yes, Ben now builds epic SAND forts!)
JT TEPNAPA - PRODUCER
JT is an international award-winning filmmaker whose films have appeared in festivals in more than six countries receiving best short honors and his feature film directorial debut 'Judas Kiss' has received several awards and distribution domestically and internationally. He starred in, directed and produced several seasons of 'Star Trek: Hidden Frontier,' the longest running Star Trek fan series. He also played Lt. Cmdr. Hikaru Sulu on the award-winning 'Star Trek: Phase II' and has appeared in many plays, features, shorts, and commercials.
