About this project
ruKus radio has been hard at work for the last three years developing our ideas and turning them into reality. Starting as a podcast featuring the independent artists in and around Youngstown, Ohio and the midwest, ruKus radio has developed into a full-blown social network and 24/7 station streaming online (www.ruKusradio.com) and to smartphones!
In the last month alone, ruKus radio has reached 40 countries and countless ears, that are getting to enjoy the finest independent music from all over the world! A recent partnership with Sonicbids.com has opened the ruKus library up to new artist submissions from all over the globe. An average of ten new members create a profile on ruKusradio.com every day! And all of this has been accomplished simply on a word-of-mouth advertising model.
Successful funding of this campaign will ensure quarterly funding for ruKus radio to continue broadcasting, while also increase our broadcast to CD quality. It will also provide us with a small, but direly needed, printing and advertising budget to help the ruKus grow even further.
So please, do your part in helping us help the proverbial starving independent artist to starve no longer!
