The mastering and design work are done, and we've sent the files off to the replication/printing house! Yay! Now it's time to get the CD release show posters printed & spread the word!

A huge THANK YOU to EVERYONE who donated for your generous support of our project! We are SO excited to launch the new album out into the world & it is YOU who made it all possible.
Within the next few days you will receive a survey from us, just to gather the necessary information so we can get your RSP goodies to you, whether that be by email, the postal service, pony express, carrier pigeon, satellite transmission, or mere telepathy :)
We plan on officially releasing the new CD on Saturday, June 24th at Bell's Brewery (www.bellsbeer.com) in Kalamazoo, MI. Please join us to celebrate if you can! We'll mail out the new CDs and goodies shortly thereafter. You will receive your advance copy of the new CD in MP3 format shortly after we get it mastered on May 27th, most likely via an email link.
We hope you enjoy our new set of tunes as much as we've enjoyed creating them! Thanks again for all of your awesome support!

We're closing in! Thanks again to all of our awesome donors that have gotten us so close to our goal! Your support is truly appreciated.
Well, we're a handful of overdubs away from finishing the album. Then some mixing, mastering, and it's off to the presses! The design of the album is taking shape, as well. Yesterday...Friday the 13th(!)...we got some great wet plate collodion photos done with the awesomely talented photographer Robert Shimmin. Witnessing the process of this old & specialized type of photography was a really neat experience & the tintype photos he took turned out great! We can't wait to share them with you!

Well, we are overwhelmed by the awesome support we're getting - we're over 50%! Thank you, everyone!!
The newest news is that we've just posted a rough mix of one of our new tunes on Facebook. You can check it out on our page, www.facebook.com/redseapedestrians. It's called Ella and is an Ira Cohen original! We've been having a lot of fun with it. Jay captured a little video of Mike taking a marimba solo for the tune - check it out below!
Jay also played some sweet guitar tracks for his new tune, Magnetic North, yesterday. Plus, we've had the honor of some super-special guests recording parts for the album, including Anders Dahlberg on double-bass, Emily Schaefer and Luke Cook on cello, and trumpeter extraordinaire Josh Keller! Josh provided some killer solos for another of Jay's new tunes. You guys are going to get a kick out of this one!
