Today is National Missing Children's Day
Our hearts go out to those parents that have had children go missing. Losing a child to the unknown is something that we couldn't even imagine. This fear was one of the driving factors behind the Safety Perimeter Interaction and the tōd Smart Beacon itself.
The Rowdy Robot team has several small children and there is nothing quite as scary as looking down, out the window, or up from what ever you were doing and realizing that your child is gone. Luckily most of the time they've just harmlessly wandered off, but in those situations where it's something more, every second counts.

I'm so glad that this little accessory could help keep my family safe. The fact that I can take it with us anywhere makes it even better. I'm glad that Kickstarter is helping us share this idea with so many more families than our own. Obviously our hope is that the world becomes tod Enabled. But if even one more family can avoid tragedy then it will have all been worth it.
