Thanks to you, we are up to 84% of our goal in just two weeks! Your support has been vital to getting us this close--truly, a game changer in our ability to imagine and soon make this film! We wanted to share a couple brief updates about some new developments since launching the campaign:

THE CREW HUNT: We are thrilled to have Star Rosencrans, DP extraordinaire, newly on-board as our cinematographer. Star not only brings with him a skilled eye and talent for composition, but also a love for the woods and a spirit of adventure that will surely be felt in the footage he records. THE RESOURCE HUNT: We recently found out that we were selected as Finalists for a grant through Cinereach--one of the most exciting, influential grantmakers to documentary and narrative film in the country. We're incredibly encouraged by their interest in the project! Check out the projects that they fund here: www.cinereach.org.

All of the positive momentum, from your pledges to Star, to Cinereach, is keeping our spirits high as we go into our final prep before our shoot. However, we have not yet reached our goal. As our backers, we'd love it if you could pass our Kickstarter page along to friends, family or anyone you think might be interested in the project; or post it to facebook/twitter.
