Hey Folks:
We made it! Thanks to everyone who donated to Rooftop Films to help us meet our fundraising goal. The Summer has officially been extended! That means more screenings, more venues, more films, more fun. And for all of you, a stack of Rooftop tickets, passes, DVDs, framed film stills, dinner, and more.
We've still got a day left, and Kickstarter projects can generate MORE than their goals. For you, that means even more gifts—now you know you'll be getting those tickets and DVDs. For us, that means putting on better events, in more places, and a more secure future. We'll have updates about upcoming events real soon.
So please tell your friends that Rooftop Films still would love their support. If you meant to donate but haven't yet, there's still time. Kick in by Wednesday at 8pm. Thanks!
Update #6: New Rooftop Short Film DVD Lineup
Rooftop Films needs to raise $5,000 by August 4 in order to "extend the summer" — add more screenings, go to new locations, host more events in the cooler months. If you love Rooftop Films, and want to see us keep going, please make a donation.
And, since you want to see us expand, how about expanding into your home? If you donate $30 or more, you can bring Rooftop to your very own TV with a limited edition short film DVD only for current donors. The lineup includes some of the coolest Rooftop short films around. All the movies on the DVD are by New York filmmakers, with our special blend of guts, grit, glorious beauty and grand stories. There's comedy, drama, animation and more.
