All Hallows Eve is a six issue miniseries comic that will also be collected into one 138 page graphic novel. All Hallows Eve was written by Ty Luckman, adapted into a comic by Trevor Luckman, and is illustrated by Dave Mims. 

THE STORY

All Hallows Eve follows the story of six fables on Halloween night. This tale of horror spans the centuries, from a pagan Ireland to the modern day United States. All Hallows Eve follows the story of Jack Hallow and Satan. Hallow, a man plagued with famine, death, and murder in pre-Christian Ireland, binds his soul to the Devil. For eternity, Jack is damned to the earth, collecting souls for Satan.

As these two clash, Satan attempts to keep hell filled with fresh souls as Jack struggles for a modicum of redemption. This tale weaves throughout a number of American eras, from a 1785 colonial Virginia, to a quaint Minnesota suburb in the 1950s. This epic saga between good, evil and the weak, mark a Halloween night filled with abject terror. A witch, a serial killing physician, and two sociopathic teenagers are just several of the characters we meet as All Hallows Eve crosses a millennia. 

THE ISSUES

Issue 1 - Speak for the Dead: On this All Hallows Eve, one man will face the reckoning of his atrocity. As Jonathan Dodsman drinks beer and engages in the idle talk of the rich, the wrath of his victim will soon be upon him. A young girl has come to return Dodsman’s nefarious exploit. Anna Wethers… has come for a soul.

Issue 2 - All Hallowed Love: In upstate New York in 1868, an overbearing mother and absent farm scarcely fill the void for Sophia Baukker.  As Sophia desperately searches for her young lover, William, she encounters the hypnotic guile of Satan. On this fateful night, Sophia is pulled by the forewarning of her mother and the spellbinding promises of an ancient witch; each clamoring for the possession of her soul.

Issue 3 – Slaughter the Children: On the ancient night of Samhain, the Celtic harvest festival, a young man discovers the truth of evil. In a primal Ireland, Jack Hallow faces a paralyzing battle for his conscience. As Jack’s young son and wife endeavor to fight the scourge of starvation, Jack desperately clings to his ephemeral concept of Celtic honor. As his family succumbs to the ravages of a failed harvest, Jack finds himself enveloped in murder, theft, and a brush with immortality.

Issue 4 – Summon the Devil: In the Chicago of the 1920s, most teenagers spend Halloween attending small parties and traveling door to door for the homemade treats of neighbors and strangers alike. However, two elite prep’ school sociopaths, Ford and Campbell, begin an adventure to discover the truth behind summoning the Devil.

Issue 5 – The Doctor’s Basement: A local doctor, M.M. Mazzden is by all accounts; kind, respectful, courteous, and most importantly, a good physician. However, his true nature resides in a much darker place. As the kind and gentle people of Anoka, Minnesota attend their annual Halloween parade, Dr. Mazzden continues his ritualistic abduction and torture of local women. On this night, Joanie Clarkin finds herself a victim of the sadistic Mazzden, trapped in his basement of horror.

Issue 6 – The Past is Prologue: On this All Hallows Eve, one man is offered a chance to regain his lost love. Kurt Blatt has spent the last six years of his life drowning himself in alcohol and opiates to anesthetize his torment. Kurt abandoned his lover, Barbara, to a paradox of apathy and ambition. He is now granted the opportunity to regain her affection. Kurt must place himself within the grasp of an angelic witch and the unholy embrace of Satan, to regain her favor.
