Connected as Roger Ingraham (656 friends)
Starting at the age of 19, Roger Ingraham co-wrote, produced, and directed his first feature film, Moonshine, in the vein of ultra-low budget Hollywood directors like Robert Rodriguez. In 2006, the indie horror film was in official selection at the Sundance Film Festival, making Roger the youngest known feature filmmaker in the festival's history.
Turning down offers to enter the Hollywood industry, he opted instead to travel with a non-profit organization to visit the poorest of the poor, documenting efforts to bring clean water and education to the people. In the years following, his continued intention has been to use his films to open up new ways of thinking about the world, that bring about greater compassion and awareness.
