Wow, I'm so glad that my good friend Jayson added this link on his facebook... I was there with him for that amazing concert and it was (like the other 3+ concerts of yours that my husband and I have been to) AMAZING. (By the way Jayson still brags about that album.)

I ran into you and your wife on the streets of Denver before a show about 4 years back. Then after the show I purchased one of the last vinyl copies of "Suicide Medicine". You came out to sign it and was so excited because it has the unique black&white tie-dye vinyl that you took it out of the cover and held it up for everyone to see. You even stuck around and chatted with me and my friends for a while. To this day it was the best concert I've ever been to. Thanks again and best wishes to you and your family. Cheers

so excited to play a tiny part in this extraordinary venture of yours Rocky. to echo others sentiments, i feel it's an accurate reflection of the connection people feel with you and your music. i don't really know if deserving is a word attached to what we know as success, but if it were, you'd sure embody that.

I've been listening to your music since 2003 now and am really proud to be able to support you with this project! I also want you to know that, within all the other bands and singers I'm listening to, there's no other who affects me the way you do with not only your music but first and foremost to way how you're doing it and interact and deal with us fans. Thus you are also the only one that I gladly support with way more than just the ten bucks for another album! thank you so much for all the great moments you give us and all the best for this project. You probably don't remember me, but I saw you in March at The Space in Hamden, CT. The show was amazing, as I figured it'd be. That was my first time seeing you live, but I've loved your music for years now. I first heard of you when my friend gave me a mix CD with the song "Suicide Medicine" on it. I instantly fell in love. That's been my favorite song by you, though it's been contested a bunch of times. "Mix Tapes/Cellmates" is right on its tail. The entire album is pretty perfect, to be honest.

Well, I could go on and on forever about how you're a great musician and how you've inspired me to want to become one as well, but I'll stop now so I don't take up so much space.

I can't wait for the new album, and I can't wait to see you live again.

I've been a fan since Waxwing, and the opportunity to help seems like the least I could do. I also love this model, as it eliminates profit speculation and rewards the art. The only hard part now is trying to figure out which song for the lyric sheet.

The show you played in our house last winter lit up the cold and dark and warmed us for weeks. You played Mixtape for us, and the energy you put into my new favorite, Red River, was a highlight. I hope you meet your goal, because the Christmas card will go to my son, who told me about you when Makers came out. He took time off to come to that living room show, and enjoyed it as much as we did. We love your music and wish you the best.

It is evident that your music has impacted the lives of many in immeasurable ways. That you share your talent is gift enough, having the opportunity to contribute more directly (outside of music and merch purchases) is a pretty stellar chance to gift you in return.
