About this project
After getting such a tremendous response to our film "Role/Play" (which is playing film festivals now), we are moving forward with producing a soundtrack CD for the movie, and we need your help!
The soundtrack CD will feature 10 selections from the original score, composed and performed by Jake Monaco, as well as four original songs written for the film ("BAND!," "Way Out," "All The King's Men" and "Maybe I...," all performed by Jake Monaco), and two additional songs ("Lover" by Tom Goss, and "Taking My Time" by Asian Envy). The CD should be completed and ready to ship by late July/early August.
Many of our fans may know Jake Monaco from our previous film, "Make The Yuletide Gay," for which he wrote and performed six original songs with Jen Hansen. That soundtrack has been very popular, and we think the "Role/Play" soundtrack has the same potential for success.
The funds we raise through Kickstarter will help with the production costs of the soundtrack CD. Our goal of $500 is just part of the actual costs, but it will be a huge help in getting the CD made.
