About this project
Airwaves & Envelopes, my new album of music videos, is my unique and yearlong attempt at taking my music to a national level. I don't have a high budget gang of radio promoters working for me, but I do have a small and astoundingly creative team of musicians, models, graphic designers, and film makers who believe in me.
Together, my team and I are working on recording 10 of the best songs I have ever written for an album called Airwaves & Envelopes. After we've released it, we're going to storyboard and film a music video for each of the songs in order to build a constant yearlong internet buzz around the album.
It would be nice if I could do this for free. It would also be nice if celery stalks tasted like candy canes. In other words, I can't do this without the generosity of people like you. To complete this project, my team and I need 35,000 dollars. For big or small donations, we're offering a huge list of incentives, including autographed cd's, digital downloads, t-shirts, hand-written thankyou letters, clothes worn in the videos, home concerts anywhere in the U.S., and even my guitar, Jacopo.
I'm grateful to announce the release of the first music video in the ten film series. It's only appropriate that we start this kickstarter campaign by showing you our first single and the title track of the whole project, Airwaves & Envelopes. Your support will help us make nine more music videos as good and even better than this one. Enjoy!
This is how we're going to spend the cash:
2,000 dollar budget for each music video. We need to pay the film guys, producers, musicians, actors, and rent out sets. 2 x 10 = $20,000
3,000 dollar budget for album & promotional art & photography
2,000 dollar budget for website upkeep
3,500 dollar budget for cd manufacturing
2,500 dollar budget for printing promotional materials (posters, postcards, etc.)
4,000 dollar budget for conceptual design of promotional events
For every 5,000 dollars we go above the goal, I'll write a new song and film a new video with every one of the donors' names in the credits, and every donor will get a free download of the song and video.
If we go way far above the goal, I might buy a new van to tour in or a diamond ring for my girlfriend... :) or I'll just keep recording more songs and making more music videos. Yup, the last one sounds right. :)

Hi, I'm Rob Vischer! A year ago, I became a full-time singer/songwriter. With a guitar to strum and cd's to sell, I began by knocking on 2,000 doors in my hometown.
