Hello Kickstarter!

We would like to make the most professional, bad ass, rock n roll video possible. In the past, Sunsets North had some great looking videos made, but this one will be Vevo, MTV, Viral status, next level quality! We have partnered up with an award winning music video director and his creative production team to bring our vision into reality. All we need now are the production funds.

Right now we have just over 1400 FB fans. If each one of you (our Fans) donates at the $5 level, we can make this video a reality. 5 bucks, thats it! This video is going to be highly stylized, loaded with visual effects (like explosions, slow motion and a mother ship...thats right, a MOTHER EFFING MOTHER SHIP!) and will rival what is currently being played in rotation. We've already spent thousands of our own dollars producing a great album and now its time for the audio to meet the visuals.

The funds will be used 100% for this music video. The more money we can raise the better this video will become. A lot goes into producing a "film" of such high quality. Everything costs money, from the obvious things like crew, locations and special effects to the not so obvious things like permits, parking and insurance. To give you an idea of the ideal camera gear we'd like to shoot with, the rental prices are as follows per day:

• GOLD LIST: Arri Alexa $1500 w/o lenses, monitor, and other accessories. Weisscam 2500FPS high speed camera (for slow mo) $2500. Again, no lenses  or accessories included with that price. Also, the High Speed requires a technician to be on set. The tech's day rate is $500+. We need a DIT (digital imaging technician) on set to provide support so we can get the most out of this camera technology. They cost about $450 per day.
  
• SILVER LIST:  Red Epic $1500 w/o lenses, monitor, accessories etc. We still need a DIT guy @ $450 for the day. Phantom HD HighSpeed camera is $2000 for the day w/o lenses and also needs a technician to assist. @ $500 per day. 
• Bronze List:  Red One Camera $1300 w/o lenses, Hard Drives, or other important accessories.  

Ideally we want to shoot with the GOLD LIST. Here is some footage shot with the Arri Alexa and the Weisscam High Speed camera.

We are also going to push a large YouTube PR campaign with the video once its released. This is going through our video director's creative agency, Robot Mouse (MrRobotMouse.com) and cost around $500-$1000 depending on which campaign we choose. 

As of now, a few days after Christmas, we have a location in mind, the general story/treatment written and the Director, Cinematographer, Makeup Artist and a Post Production house signed on. Casting, Wardrobe and all the "producing" details have not yet been hashed out...but hey, it is winter on the east coast, so we have plenty of snow days coming, for us to work things out. This video has a sneak peek at the main location for the video. It's a very post apocalyptic run down abandoned building.
