About this project
Halloween and Spook Pinups is an art book celebrating the greatest holiday of the year with the most glamorous (and possibly dangerous) dames we can find. The name is a play on Halloween and Spook Stories, the infamous Betty Grable photo that launched a thousand pumpkins.
- Combining commissioned and submitted photography, we will blend cheesecake pinups and cheesy costumes, horror and beauty, vampires and zombies, ghosts, ghouls, and more devil-may-care ladies of darkness and delight!

We are breaking the mold of ultra-glossy, paper back books that you keep hidden under your bed. We are creating something vividly beautiful that will be richly printed on thick, luscious paper and hardbound. Our book will be an 8.5" x 11" book so richly detailed, it becomes a part of your annual Halloween decorations.
- We will be exploring the range of Halloween from cheesy to gore.
- We will be exploring the range of pinups from colorful seamless backdrops to detailed sets to outdoor scenes.
Halloween and Spook Pinups is decadent darkness and polite company.
We have Stephanie Kuhr, founder of Dottie's Delights, on board for pin-up consultation and co-production (having access to her lingerie skills doesn't hurt, either). We have our graphic design crew, we have illustrators, a calligrapher and writers, models and photographers and set builders.
The Kickstarter funds will go into printing, crafting more elaborate sets and more decadent wardrobe pieces.
Production will run from November 1, 2011 until late Summer 2012. All backers will have access to a private production blog, where we will share candid shots, crazy stories, and interviews with our gorgeous models and genius photographers. The blog will be updated at minimum once a week.

The final book will be sent out in mid September 2012, in time for you to enjoy during Halloween 2012.
