Going off what Richard said, maybe in your marketing you should call it "the un-platformer", or "platforms are for pussies", etc. (Well, okay, maybe not that last one, but you get the idea.)

Great interview! I agree with everything you say. I like your indie 'hardcore' games approach. A lot of the people I know think games that are made now hold your hands too much, are too linear, and aren't any fun. I am glad that you are helping trying to offset that by making a hardcore game that is fun and challenging.
