Kickstarter

I just moved across the country from Fort Wayne, Indiana to Portland, Oregon. I'm a zine writer who has completed one issue and had success with the mere 75 copies I had available to distribute among inhabitants of Fort Wayne. Now, though, I'm trying to get my work out in a new city as well as fill orders for copies for people in Fort Wayne and a few other midwest cities as well.

Also, I am nearing the completion of my second issue of Bird Shit. In order to make printing this possible, I'm going to need a little bit of financial help to make it happen. This is where you come in.

Generally when it comes to printing I use simple methods with copying and scanning. My covers aren't really extravagant, though I have not yet designed one for my second issue. Needless to say, it doesn't take much. The problem lies, though, in getting the cash to print as well as the necessary funding to aid in effective distribution as far as postage goes. This is the big problem that I'm having.

By utilizing Kickstarter, I will not only be able to raise the money to get everything printed and ready to go, but I will also be able to get the word out and create a little more of a name for Bird Shit.
