About this project
Hey, you! Thanks for stopping by our Kickstarter project. We're excited to have this opportunity to make our first EP a knock-out, but we can't do it without the help and contributions of our friends, families and fans.
This November, we will be hitting the studio to record our first 4 song EP entitled Sea Legs. The following tracks will be featured on the EP:
- Everything, Nothing
- The Hook
- Open Book
- I Was An Island
Two days in the studio is going to run us about $600, plus we have the costs of producing and mastering the songs as well as buying the physical hard-copies of the cds. The total cost we will be confronted with is estimated to be slightly higher than $1,000, but we wanted to keep our goal modest and achievable. We've chosen to do things as DIY as possible in order to reduce costs as well as maintain our own character and personal touch in everything that we produce.
That said, anything that you get from us through this Kickstarter campaign has been designed and created with love by one of the band members or by our close friend and artist, Judith Gammons (who is donating her talent to produce one of the art print versions).

Robin Rütenberg is a singer/songstress who in July 2011 was joined by a trio of incredible friends and musicians in Jacksonville, Fl. Together, they formed an arrangement, known as Robin Rütenberg & Friends, that is gaining momentum and attracting attention through powerful live performances and memorable original songs. The quartet composes and performs thoughtful, melodic and heartfelt pieces, complimenting Robin's passionate vocals and thematic lyrics. The group artfully weaves cello, voice and guitar with a dynamic bass and percussion syncopation.
The band is comprised of: Robin Rütenberg [guitar, mandolin, vocals, tambourine, harmonica], Naarah Strokosh [cello, keys], Quinn Mellon [bass, back-up vocals], and Summer Wood [percussion, back-up vocals].
