Our band is completing a five-song EP at London Bridge Studio in Seattle, Washington. We were fortunate enough to have been heard at a show in Tacoma by one of London Bridge’s producers. He then offered us his services as producer/engineer. Very nice, but since we are not a signed band we are faced with having to pay for all recording and distribution costs out-of-pocket. The projected completion date for our EP is February, 2012. Costs for recording and mixing at the studio will be ~$3000. Mastering costs should be about $500-$1000. Duplication, packaging and promotion of the CDs will cost around $2000-$3000. Our goal is $7,000, in order to cover the costs of our entire project, plus any further costs in production that may arise.
