I spent most of 2011 working on songs that became my brand new record. I couldn't be more proud and now I need your help!

Hi, my name is Leo Bautista. I’m 18 years old and I’ve been writing, recording, and performing music under the name Rival Summers for the last four years. In that time, I’ve experienced so much, seen so many different places, met some really amazing people, and lived out so many of dreams. It has really become my life and I really hope to continue what I’m doing for a long time.

I’ve released three albums so far, but I know my newest record Learning to Live is my best stuff to date. I’ve spent all of the last year working on these songs and I really couldn’t be more proud of what I’ve put together. These songs really mean so much to me and I’m really excited for everyone to hear it, but there’s only one problem.

Being a full time college student, on top of being an independent touring musician leaves me with no money. I’ve already spent all the money I’ve saved up all year on recording the songs but there is still so much I need to get done. So I decided to start this Kickstarter campaign to get you guys involved, because my music is just as much yours as it is mine.

We have until February 29th to raise $2,000.

All the money backed by this campaign will go towards making physical copies of my new album, properly promoting the record, and touring. With every donation you get awesome rewards ranging from my new album sent to you before it’s released to songs personally written for you and more! Every little bit counts so donate what you can and spread the word!

I really believe in these songs and I just want to be able to get them out to you guys in the best way possible. Thank you guys for everything, all the support thus has really meant so much and I’m really excited to keep moving forward with Rival Summers.
