Nowadays smartphones have replaced the clutter and the need to carry separate devices such as cameras, GPS, notepads, calendars and all that other stuff you used to have. And there are a handful of gadgets that enable consumers to affix their phones to very specific things. But we have found many problems with these existing products; brand/model specific limitations, weak fastening methods, made of flimsy plastic, not case friendly, and they just are not strong enough to keep an expensive phone securely attached unless in perfect conditions.
When developing a solution to these shortcomings, PON needed to fulfill the following criteria:
- Fit virtually all smartphones on the market
- Mount to a variety of devices for countless applications
- Be machined from single block aerospace grade aluminum
- Contain any case to keep phones protected
- Incorporate a double-locking system for added security
- Have a proven mechanical design
- Allow access to all phone functions and apps

Be engineered and manufactured with pride in the USA
The PON is CNC machined from single block, aerospace/weapon grade 6061-T6 aluminum with a bead blasted finish in Northern California. The final process is a hard anodization for sealing and protection. The custom thumb screw is precision lathed from brass with a standard 1/4x20 thread and comes with a locking fiber washer to add strength.
The PON can receive any 1/4x20 camera accessory stud in three different locations: front, top, and bottom for maximum versatility.

There are so many awesome and inexpensive camera accessories online that can accommodate PON. It would just be easier and more beneficial if you purchased the accessory you actually wanted. This also keeps backing our project less expensive for you and kickstarter prohibits offering other products as rewards not manufactured by the project creators.
