Richard Cheese & Lounge Against The Machine are seeking funding to record/produce their 11th studio album, tentatively titled "LET IT BRIE."

The new album will include at least 14 new tracks, plus big band horns and several celebrity guest duets. Many of the songs are already arranged, including "Stairway To Heaven," "Killing In The Name Of," "How Soon Is Now," "Careless Whisper," "Rock You Like A Huricane," "Doin' Time," "Rehab," and "Gimme That Nut." We just need funding to hire musicians, recording studios, engineers, and to pay for production, mixing, mastering, etc.
$20,000?? WTF, you ask? The money we're raising will be used to CREATE JOBS! We DON'T pocket it!!!! Musicians, arrangers, engineers, producers, graphic artists, and technicians will get HIRED to work on our album. Recording studios will receive revenue; manufacturers will make money; and retail stores will profit from our CD. We are a small business; PLEASE help us help other small businesses!
We are a cover band. We don't make big profits from our CDs, because we pay substantial royalties to all of the original artists. We don't have a major record label funding us. We aren't popular. We don't have a lot of sales. We aren't rich. We only seek enough money to continue making albums for YOU, our loyal fans. C...an you afford to help? Please do. Mark Jonathan Davis (AKA Richard Cheese) is a writer, actor, and producer. He has over 25 years of experience working in entertainment, advertising/marketing, and political consulting. In 2000, he created Richard Cheese & Lounge Against The Machine, and has released 13 albums, appeared in TV shows and movies, and performed hundreds of shows around the world.

Mark Jonathan Davis is a writer, actor, comedian, and producer. He was born in New York, raised in Arizona, and has lived and worked in Southern California since 1990. He has over 25 years of experience working as a writer, performer, and consultant in entertainment, advertising/marketing, and politics.
Davis began his professional career in radio in the early 1980's, working at legendary stations like KZZP and Pirate Radio. In 1990, he moved to Los Angeles to manage the Premiere Radio Comedy Networks, where he produced parody songs including "The Star Wars Cantina," "Jeannie's Diner," and "Rice Rice Baby."
Beginning in 1992, Davis joined the KROQ-FM Kevin & Bean morning show in L.A., performing characters such as Paul The 55-Year-Old Intern, Shakespeare Man, Lt. Sulu, and Bob Hope.
Also in the 1990's, Davis performed voices for Warner Brothers' Superman/Batman cartoon movies and TV series, and worked as an award-winning ad producer, network announcer, and jingle singer for NBC, CBS, Disney, and Nick At Nite. He currently runs World Creative Supply ( http://www.worldcreativesupply.com ), an advertising agency that specializes in creating product names and ad slogans.
He has also worked as a stuntman in a Chris Isaak video, developed theme park attractions for Walt Disney Imagineering, written jokes for President Bill Clinton, appeared as himself on NBC's "NewsRadio," performed a Stupid Human Trick on the Late Show with David Letterman, and met President Barack Obama at a White House Holiday Party.
Since 2000, Davis has been recording and touring as Las Vegas lounge singer character "Richard Cheese," who croons big-band swing versions of popular rock and rap songs. His "Richard Cheese & Lounge Against The Machine" swing band ( http://www.facebook.com/richardcheese ) has released 13 CDs, played hundreds of sellout shows around the U.S. and Europe, and appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Last Call with Carson Daly, CNN with Anderson Cooper, MTV's Say What Karaoke, and in the movie Dawn Of The Dead. The band's most recent CD release is "A Lounge Supreme."
Davis's latest music venture, "Johnny Aloha: Lavapalooza," features traditional Hawaiian musicians performing tiki music versions of popular hits ( http://www.facebook.com/johnnyaloha ).
His next project is "Atlas Lounged: The Music, Martinis, and Madness Behind Richard Cheese & Lounge Against The Machine," an autobiographical book about his adventures in show business.
