Havin a devil of a time trying to get mine all set up with a Canon 50mm and T2i. Haven't tried any other lenses yet. Drop time seems in-doable but I'm gonna keep trying. Anyone have a preset (like the ones Kyle did)?

Or Kyle...have you set one up with a T2i and a lighter lens with no other equip on board?

Lemme know. I got this specifically for the two T2i's that I use for certain things.

Just received my Rhino Steady! The weight arm came with minor marks on it. Most probably caused during shipment. The indents have 'teeth' like markings which could be caused from the weight packs. Other than that, a solid device.

Would be using this with a Canon 5d2. Hopefully I can fly asap.

I seem to be having an unusually hard time balancing the iPhone with the mini counter weight on the ez steady. could you put up approx instructions on what the weight distribution should be?

Received my RS in the mail yesterday. Haven't had a chance to assemble and try to fly. One question: is the Instruction manual available in electronic format online somewhere? I'd like to put it on my phone so it's always handy.

Glad to hear the final batches are being shipped this week. Great idea to have some presets for helping balance the rig.

Folks, those of you who have already received your Rhino Steady, if you have a Panasonic Lumix GH2, please share your setup if you would. I have the 14-42 kit lens on mine so that would be my first choice. I'm sure other folks with the 14-140 lens would also appreciate getting a leg up on balancing. Also, share you experiences with flying your GH2.

Has anyone been able to balance a gh2 with the kit 14-42 lens? I can't get it balance...am thinking I should have ordered the Mini Steady Counterweight.

Did you ever think Alodine then Powder Coating vs Anodizing? Alot faster/cheaper/ and you can bring in shop with out major EPA stuff. Going forward you are going to do a lot of surface coating

I really, really hope they ship in the next three weeks. I'm heading to Africa for a 2 month trip and was hoping to take mine with me to play around with some video stuff. If not, oh well, that is the way things go sometimes.
