About this project

Revista Coroto  is a non-profit publication that aims to offer its readers an excellent selection of works of the best writers from Latin América in each issue.

Short stories, poetry, nonfiction, flash fiction, interviews, reviews, essays, photography and illustrations will be inclued in our magazine.

Coroto is from El Paso, Texas. We want to take advantage of being in this diverse border area by having a Coroto reader in every corner of North America and Latin América. Then, eventually, the world.

Our readers can get Coroto for free¡¡ And they can do it in 3 different ways:

* If you live in El Paso/Juárez, or if you come to visit, we are going have distribution activities (previously announced in our social networks) in public spaces such as parks, libraries, bus stations, concerts, cultural centers, etc.

* By regular mail. You can send us a check for the amount of the shipping and we will send you your copy/copies as soon as we can.

* Internet. Every issue of our magazine will be published in a vitual version on issuu.com profile.

The funds that Coroto requires will cover the expenses of the design and production process, including the layout of the magazine, the cost of maintaining our web site and office supplies.

We are collaborating with the Universidad de Nuevo León de México, a prestigious Mexican university, that has agreed to assist with the printing process and the magazine´s distribution in Latin America.

We plan to run the first Coroto issue in Decemeber - your support will help us get there faster.

Thank you very much for your help.
