About this project
Home Base is a simple game. The player controls 4 blocks at the same time with the arrow keys and tries to get them to their respective home bases in as few moves as possible.
The game has 100 levels, and new gameplay elements are introduced every now and then to keep things fresh. Check out the gameplay video above to get an idea of how it works.
Success in the game is based on how you beat each level. There are countless solutions to every puzzle, and the more you play a level, you tend to find better and better solutions to it. You earn gold, silver, or bronze medals depending on how many moves it takes you to beat a level.
With the game nearly complete, I'm excited to get it out to as many people as possible, and I could use your support in making that happen.
I've set up this page on Kickstarter to help raise money for a website where I will begin selling the game in November of this year. You can support the release of Home Base by pre-ordering a copy for only $5.
If you're up for a challenge, take a look at the video above and screenshots below and decide for yourself if you want to challenge your brain to a game of Home Base.
If your answer is yes, a small pledge of $5 will get you a copy of the game, and in turn, you'll have one happy little game developer on your hands, motivated to make more great games in the future.
Take care,
Gerson

What's up guys (and gals). If I could describe myself in a professional manner using just one phrase, I would call myself an independent game developer.
It doesn't encompass everything I stand for of course, but for the time being it is the one area in which I have the most expertise.
I grew up playing video games on systems like the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. I had so much fun with these systems, that I was eventually inspired to try my own hand at making games.
For over seven years now, I have been making games as a hobby. I tasted a little success early on, and once I realized that I could put a smile on someone's face through something I created, I was hooked.
It's all about the user experience. It's all about the customer. It's all about you. What I bring to the table is a means by which you can enjoy yourself if you so desire.
