Hi Danielle hope you are well. I apologize for inconvenience.
Right after your email, I responded to you in details why "I won't be able to send you a digital copy and I will be happy to mail you a DVD"? For some reason I never received your response. Nevertheless I still mailed you a copy to your Australian address (in 101 / 215 Stirling St …). That was the only address I had from you.
Two months after mailing all 160 DVDs, 12 funders wrote back they never received their DVD or it was damaged in mail. After a long painstakingly interaction with US Post Office (USPS) and no luck, I made more copies and mailed all 12 people. I also specifically sent you another copy (a 2nd copy).
I will mail you a third copy in a few days as soon as you confirm your address. I may have the wrong address but I used the address you put in kickstarter when you funded the film. I will also email you the tracking number through KickStarter.
Please take a moment and send me your address again.

Hi, so I notice that you're asking people to tell everyone about the film, and pay to download it, but you still haven't sent me the digital copy I wanted as my reward for backing the project. Even after I emailed you about it privately, and you said you'd let me know when it was ready.
I'm really disappointed. I wanted to see the documentary, but I'm not going to pay for it twice. I'm also really unlikely to back any other project you start. #unhappy

Dear friends. I spent a few hours yesterday filming some bird view shots with a small airplane provided by "Light Hawk".
www.LightHawk.org is a non profit organization that has many volunteer pilots who devote their time, airplane and gas money for projects that relate to the health of our precious planet.
After watching my film trailer, they approved a flight and I filmed about 3 hours all along the Gaviota coast. It was divine. Jo, the angelic pilot was amazing so were all the other members of the LightHawk that helped me including Stephanie, and specifically Lee. I am blessed and grateful. Love you all. We will fix it. WE WILL.

A dear friend (a very successful Hollywood documentary producer) said a few days ago, "You need to get a phd on soil health yesterday". There are a few books I need to find and study in depth. Here is their list.
1. "The Nature and Properties of Soils" by Brady & Weil.
2. Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed (BY Jared Diamond).
3. Permaculture: A Designers' Manual, Bill Mollison.
4. A short history of progress (Wright)

Thirty days ago, I didn't even have 1 penny for this film and I have more than $10,715.33 now. 2466 people saw the trailer. That is 82 people a day. I don't even know %50 of the people who pledged their money. These people that I never met personally pledged their precious money in one the most difficult economic times of our history. That all tells me:
. We need new ways to keep our planet healthy for all species.
. Contrary to fear-based ideologies, there is an amazing generation that is all about trust, solution-oriented and positive ideas and helping one another.

ABOUT THE FILM:
Many advanced civilizations vanished because they did not take care of their soil. This film is about a new, progressive, and advanced practice of agriculture, that will regenerate the soil. With Regenerative Agriculture we create healthier food, build communities, and most importantly increase the top soil. Top soil, the skin of the earth, is where the life of the plant exists, and that is where our food comes from. Top soil sequesters CO2, turning a poison (in atmosphere) to food. According to many scientists, ranchers, and environmentalists worldwide, if we increase the top soil by 1.6%, the top soil sequesters so much CO2 that the amount of CO2 in atmosphere goes back to the amount before the industrial revolution in less than 10 years. The film documents different methods of advanced practices including water management through keyline design, the reintroduction of animals in to landscape, fertility management, and relocalization. Shot on three continents in some of the most beautiful farms on the planet, featuring interviews with some of the most incredible scientist, farmers, environmentalist, and visiting amazing organizations like Earth Island Institute, Orella Ranch Stewardship,... Hi every one. It is day 17, 80 amazing pledges, 1020 have already watched the trailer that is 60 people a day. I still need another $8000.

BRIANNA'S QUESTION:
Excellent Concept, Good Luck!!! I do have one thought though to share.....I noticed a lot of shots of a tractor tilling up soil, and the soil is a living eco-system, the "skin of the earth" as you said. Well, there is another great movie, A Farm for the Future, that discusses how damaging tractor tilling is to the ecology of the soil, making the same analogy. I would advise if you make a movie about topsoil, that you look into this. Good morning Brianna. Thank you for your pledge and also question about tractor tilling damaging the eco system.
You are absolutely right. Although some of the shots you see are Yaemon Plow. This plow is named after the guru of Permaculture in Austailia who invented this plow that has adjustable blades and if you use it properly, you will just mingle top soil and not damage it.
But of course I am not a farmer but a filmmaker so that could be my weakness. In the meantime I have been eating healthy food, and surrounded myself with amazing positive and caring people and that helps me to stay centered and focused and objective and responsible. That means one thing I can promise you is that I will not change the direction of the film so I can make more money. I will not promote tools (like the tractors) that defeats my purpose. My purpose has been HEALTHIER PLANET FOR ALL SPECIES for the last 10 years. And I stay open to changes. We never really know all the answers but that is not important. What is crucial is that we realize that every thing is changing and we need to be open to constantly evolve to understand our precious planet.
