from my understanding, it's a film SHOT EXCLUSIVELY ON an iPhone 4, not a film about it. if you read the description, they tell you the premise of the film. the iPhone 4 just seems like a creative challenge for the filmmakers, and it doesn't appear to be in any way linked to an "apple infomercial".

i hate to be a hater but why not ask apple to fund an apple infomercial? I'd be much more interested if you were doing something DIY

Back in 08′ I made a short film (with Tung.ly) called Fifty People, One Question: New Orleans. It went viral and in early 2009, with the encouragement and help of a friend, I quit my job, left my old life. Now I produce films and craft experiences at our company, Deltree. We have done work for global brands on locations around the world. You should check out our website at http://thedeltree.com
