Thanks for getting in there and pulling together the LED plans for us Mark. I'm glad to see that I was wrong and that you guys are an up and up organization. Looking forward to it as well as the development of finding a vendor for the dimmer situation. Maybe you can give the online community some help so that maybe we can solve the problem for you. I like the forum idea and have seen this really take hold in some other arenas.

Thank you for the update. May I suggest that when you release the plans that you setup an online forum so that those with the plans can provide support to each other, as well as ask questions of your engineering team? A streamlined communication will likely save many time and money insofar as their investment when building LED lights, as well as provide a venue for you to outline the patch updates as they become available.

Hi All
We have been receiving a lot of messages regarding the LED Plans and so we thought it sensible to give you an update.
For those who don't know, we have been experiencing problems with our suppliers meaning we are no longer comfortable recommending them to our backers. Unfortunately this change in suppliers has meant a redesign for the dimmer circuit which means its not as simple as releasing the plans just without the recommendations.
However, it is not OK that the plans have been delayed this long and so we have come to a solution. We will be releasing a primary version of the plans in the form of a video and a PDF document with the diagrams and construction materials you will need. These plans will be incomplete since they will not contain the dimmer but as soon as it is possible for us to release patches we will update you all with this addition.
We were hesitant to release incomplete plans since we wanted to release something bullet proof. This way, you will be able to construct a fully working set of LED lights that work from battery power but like kenos you won't be able to dim them. Not the most elegant of solutions but this delay doesn't feel right when everyone has been so generous to us.

The Underwater Realm
It sounds like the Underwater Realm is turning into the Underwater Excuse Farm. I have witnessed this kind of problem before where the we keep our part of the deal and as soon as the film makers get their money they forget about you. Sad and sleazy. I thought that this bunch would be different.
@Paul Robinson I got this message from Dave explaining the current situation with the Indie Action Pack
"The Indie action pack has been slightly delayed due to the fact that our shooting schedule for The Underwater Realm has been brought forward. Since we're working on favours (even with the kick starter campaign this is still a very low budget endeavour) we have to fit around studios and suppliers schedules which is highly frustrating. However we are trying to et the packs out asap. Thank you for your support and patience

Thanks for the update Dave. Just keep us updated please. A LED lighting building plan without supplier address (of the most important parts the LED strips I suppose ) is of course useless.

Thank you for your update. I am glad to have contributed to such a worthwhile project and wish it much success.
I had signed up for the LED plans. Just as you have felt let down by your supplier I also feel let down by Realm Pictures in regards to receiving my LED plans package. I tried to contact your organization a number of times without getting any return of information. I think that you might want to consider doing something a little extra for those who ordered this package. This would go a long way to show your sincere gratitude for their generous contributions. Then again this is just my opinion.
Also for future reference I would say that it is not acceptable to be silent in regards to your contributors because of your being "too busy". It makes me feel like I am being taken advantage of and that your production comes before your backers. We all know that unfortunate things happen in this business but we would rather know than not know.

As for the LED plans, we have been quite badly let down by a supplier, and we are not happy to work with them or to suggest them to all of our backers. We have thankfully now found a replacement and will be delivering the LED plans asap.
Really very sorry for the delay - we just want to make sure that we give you plans for a set of lights that will work hard for you for a long time to come.

Well, it's soon the end of the month after. They really should really say something about the LED plans. This silence is not okay.
I was told the following on Feb 16:
"The rewards will be sent out by the end of this month. We are just adding a few finishing touches and thanks but they will be out soon. Thanks for you patience"
