To digitize and my large collection of 35mm slides that I took during the International Peace Walk in the U.S.S.R. in 1987, pelodom.

My goal is to digitize my large collection of 35mm slides that I took during The 1987 International Peace Walk from St Petersburg to Moscow U.S.S.R with 200 Americans and 200 Soviets. This would co-inside with the twenty-five year anniversary of the walk. 

I would publish all the photographs on a website featuring the 1987 walk through the Soviet Union. I would also publish a limited edition photographic book called "The Art of Peace" containing my favorite photographs from the international peace walk along with words describing 'the peace' experienced. In honor of the twenty five year reunion of The International Peace Walk I would also offer a limited number of one on one, one day walks with the main purpose of sharing the wisdom of what I have learned about peace since walking across America with The Great Peace March in 1986 and from St Petersburg to Moscow in 1987. For this project, "The Art of Peace,"  I would need to purchase an art quality 35mm photo scanner with a computer to upload the images. Also needing the computer to create and design the website that will be home to the hundreds and hundreds  of photographs documenting the 1987 International Peace Walk.
