Immerse yourself in the joys, the sorrows, the dreams and the secret desires of belly dancer ... real stories .. real women ....

Eighteen (18) women representing eight (8) different countries and seven (7) States embark on the ambitious dream of bringing the Confessions of Belly Dancers (C) from around the world to life on the stage.

How are we making it happen?

By dedicating our Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for more than a year to perfecting our technique, embracing the passion and making the dream a reality.

Why do we do it?

Because the real life experiences of dancers from around the world need to be told. We're preserving our histories - from ancient ceremonies to humorous "days in the life" to all the dimensions of love (first kiss, romantic interludes on the Mediteranean Sea, to betrayal and more) - and sharing the real stories of real women.

Just as important, it's our collective goal to elevate the art of belly dance (properly known as Oriental Dance or Raks Sharqi). By integrating the dance form with true life stories and placing them on the majesty of the theatrical stage, belly dance is lifted to the same level as ballet, tap, jazz and other dance forms.

What makes us special?

Co-produced by one of the world's most admired and respected Oriental artists, Momo Kadous, and Raksanna, this theatrical production features exciting, never before seen choreographies by Momo and Raksanna herself, mesmerizing music by award-winning, voting member of the Grammy Awards Dr. Samy Farag and the talent of an international cast.

We need your help! This project is costing more than $20,000 USD and we've been able to raise a fair share ourselves through advertising and other means. But it's not enough.

Our stated Kickstarter goal is $2,500 USD. We set this limit to ensure that we can meet our Kickstarter requirements. However, we need to raise more than that to cover all the costs.
