Rakadu Gypsy Dance makes the journey to Berkeley, Ca. to dance in the show "Devotion", a production hosted by FatChanceBellyDance.
We are working on three middle eastern dance pieces to perform in the production, "Devotion" in Berkeley, Ca. We have been rehearsing and arranging the pieces over several months and are in the fine tuning phases of the project. The dance pieces will be performed as a collaboration with the music group, "Helm" and performed live at the Julia Morgan Theater in Berkeley on June 17th.
Rakadu is honored to be invited to perform in this show and share the stage with a cast of some of the most amazing dancers and musicians in the world: our hosts: FatChanceBellyDance, Elizabeth Strong, Colleena Shakti, Devyani Dance Company, Ghawazi Caravan, and Helm.
Through this Kickstarter we are raising funds to help offset our travel expenses. The money raised will go towards the airfare, ground transportation, and living expenses incurred for this project.
