I'm recording my first full length solo album titled "Unwind," to be released as soon as I have the funds to finish it!
I am creating this CD in order to spread my music to as many people as possible. I love what I do as a musician and I want to share it with others. I've been performing as a professional musician for almost 10 years. I'm nineteen years old and attending college. This album will be my first as a solo singer/songwriter, though I plan to have other musicians play on it including my brother, Niko. Many friends of mine have come forward to help me in the process but with the bad economy they just can't do it for free. Even if they were willing and able to do it for free, their hard work deserves payment. Because of this, my small budget of $1500 I've saved over the last year is not enough. Here is the breakdown of how I want/need to pay these people who so generously offered their time and efforts.
Recording and Engineering by Joe Reyes : $600
Mastering by Jimmy George: $450
Studio musicians: $400
Design of Cover by Delaney Cate: $100
Printing and Copying of CDs: $1500
TOTAL: $3050 -$1500 (I've saved up) = $1550
I am hoping to release this CD this Winter
