Why Kickstarter?

We're finally halfway through the recording process of our new self-produced album. We'd like to use this Kickstarter not only as a way to cover the costs of self-producing an album, but also as a means for you to pre-order fantastic merchandise so that we can afford to even produce it. 

How to Pledge

On the right-hand column of this page are a list of rewards that you can get for pledging a specific amount. All you have to do is click on the price range that you'd like to contribute. Non-reward donations are also available by clicking the green "Back This Project" at the top-right corner of this page. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated!

Here's the bad news, if we don't raise $2000 within 20 days time, all of the money that we raised has to be returned. So, if you like what Quiet People does and you want to see this Kickstarter succeed, we would be overly ecstatic if you shared this page with family and friends who support the arts and independent music.

Video Covers

Five days before launching our Kickstarter, we asked our Facebook friends to suggest what songs they'd like us to cover in a video. We received more than 30 suggestions, which we narrowed down to 15. We opened voting to all of Facebook, and the top 5 songs were selected. For every $500 raised, we'll post a brand new cover song on YouTube.

• $1000: Beatles - Strawberry Fields Forever
• $1500: Frank Sinatra - Fly Me to the Moon
• $2000: Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek

What the $2000 Goes Towards

• ~ 30% Mastering plug-ins, recording equipment
• ~ 20% CDs and CD cases, royalty fees 
• ~ 25% T-Shirts
• ~ 15% Posters
• ~ 10% Kickstarter/Amazon Fees

All additional money will go towards travel expenses, (gas/repairs) new equipment, and touring.

If our Kickstarter is successful after the 20 days, we will send you a "survey" for entering in things like your address, shirt size, and shirt color so we can mail your items appropriately.
