The past few weeks have been busy with good things confirmed:
1. We have been trying to find a suitable actor for the part of Jerrold Walkerson, Jennifer's indifferent and callous father. We auditioned only a handful of actors and received low responses to the casting calls.
But, one day, a thought struck me to call my old editing professor at NYU, Sam Pollard. Sam is not only a professor at Tisch School of the Arts, but he is also a highly regarded editor, director, and producer within the film community. After the production of Glance, he can now add actor to his ever growing list of professional titles.
The phone conversation with Sam was brief, but efficient: he instantly said yes to the part! Now we have Sam on our set and it is going to be great learning experience for myself and the crew! He is one of my mentors while I was attending NYU, so this is a great honor to have him play this small, but crucial part in Glance.
2. We are at $2,120 and we have 12 days left. Your generosity can help us secure our production and get this film finally shot, edited, and ready for film festivals abroad. All it needs is you. You are the intricate part of Glance's future. We have a cast. We have a crew. We have our locations. We are ready. We just need you!
Forward your donations from this campaign to the new Kickstarter. It's simple and it makes a huge difference for all of us who have worked hard on this production for the past eight months!
Thank you for believing! We will have a nice cut of the film for all of you to see!
