An International student film festival targeted to Latino mass communication and film-making students in the U.S. and Latin America.
The Center for the Study of Latino Media & Markets, at Texas State University, invites Mass Communication and film-making undergraduate students and faculty in colleges and universities in the Unites States, Latin America, the Caribbean and the Iberian Peninsula to participate in “Puntos de Vista” – “Points of View”, an international Spanish-language documentary festival.
This festival aims to encourage young students to express, through cameras, different points of view on those topics that will help us grow as communicators and society. The “Puntos de Vista” festival will take place on April 27th at Texas State University.

The Amigos (Friends) of Puntos de Vista are a group of folks who are working together to support the film festival by helping to raise money and awareness. We believe that it's important to support a platform for students to share their points of view and increase cultural sensitivity and awareness.

The funds will help offset the cost to provide hospitality, awards and lodging for the international student filmmakers attending the festival. The festival receives limited funding from TX State University as well as sponsors and in-kind donations.
