Help a group of local artists start a Fringe Theater Festival in Portland, Maine.

PTC is proud to announce:

PORTFRINGE 2012, A Celebration of Southern Maine's Theater Community at the PPAF.

WHY PORTLAND: Because really exciting, weird, moving, funny, ridiculous and profound theater is already happening here! Portland, Maine is already a tourist destination because of its scenic, visual arts, musical, and culinary presence, and with this summer's Portland Performing Arts Festival, we see a great opportunity to celebrate even more of the stuff that we do so well.

WHY FRINGE: Because this festival will be fun, energetic, fast, and cheap! during the weekend of June 28th - July 1st, Portland will be home to a large festival with many exciting acts from from here and from away. PF-12 will create an opportunity for local theater to be a part of this great celebration. Our festival will have low ticket prices, multiple shows per venue, per night, and an emphasis on eclectic local performance.

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO: We need generous people like you to help off-set our costs. We need a little help paying for venues, printing a program, taking out advertising space, and to fund our central collaborative show.

Produced by PTC, this central show will be the anchor of PF-12. Using all local artists and representing a vast selection of companies and groups, the central show will be one big, warm, wet and, sloppy hug of Portland theater.

Please give generously and often, and check out our website www.portfringe.com and our facebook page for more information!
