About this project
The purpose of this project is to raise enough money to press and release a limited physical version of our new album "Displacement Disorder", as well as to help fund the budget of a music video for the song "Flesh Addict", which will be our first single from the album.
Our goal is to accomplish this without the assistance of a record label. Instead we are opening the door to our friends, fans, and listeners to have a helping hand in the creative process behind releasing what we consider to be our most ambitious and artistic creation yet.
During the month of April while this project is active, we intend on hosting what we are calling "Noise-A-Thons" to help raise awareness. These Noise-A-Thon's events will consist of live webcasts via Stickam and Facebook straight from the ProBurn studio, and will feature live performances, DJ sets, and other weirdness from us and special guests. We will post updates here and on our Facebook for scheduling and announcements regarding these Noise-A-Thon events!
In the instance of us exceeding our funding goal, we promise any extra money earned will also be utilized for this project and this project only. Our listed funding goal reflects only about half of what the grand total of the album pressing, artwork, and video production will cost.
THE ALBUM
The physical version of Displacement Disorder will be a double disk release featuring artwork designed by Paul McCarroll of Unhinged Art and mastering by Gregg Janman of Hermetech Mastering. Along with both disks, we intend on including many extras such as stickers and patches designed by both Nikki Telladictorian and Paul McCarroll. The first 60 sales will also include 1 of 60 unique mini collages handcrafted by Nikki Telladictorian. Disk One is all new Prometheus Burning material, while Disk Two features recordings from our hardware based improvised noise project Four Pi Movement.
THE VIDEO
The video will be produced by Shawn Collins of LeftHandSH8K Studio in Columbus OH. For this video we will not be using actors but instead will be relying on Shawn's skills and years of experience with disturbing special effects, stop-motion animation, and creepy robotic creations. Everything within the video will be created from the bottom up, creating a real horrorshow of unique and disturbing characters and visuals. The video will be for the song "Flesh Addict" from the new album, and will be released ahead of the album as a video single.
THE REWARD
By contributing to this project you will be taking part in an artistic endeavor unlike any we have ever attempted before, and will be showing your support for independent and experimental visual art, music, and film. We greatly appreciate all pledges, no matter how large or small. Every amount pledged brings us closer to our goal.
We have established a wide range of unique and interesting items from our studio to offer as rewards for those who contribute. Along with these items we are also offering a special thank you and name credit in Displacement Disorder's linear notes for everyone who pledges $10 or more! Anyone who pledges $20 or more gets a copy of the album as soon as it is released!
For those pledging from outside of the United States for amounts with a reward, we ask that you please pledge an extra $5-$10 to compensate for shipping costs. If you are within the United States, shipping costs have already been calculated into the pledge amount. Please view the list on the right for reward items and pledge amounts. Pictures of these rewards are posted below.

Connected as Prometheus Burning
Formed in 2001, Prometheus Burning is a renegade Electro duo from Pittsburgh PA. With visual artist Nikki Telladictorian delivering lyrical lashings on the frontlines while producer Greg VanEck mans the electro battlestation of drum machines, modular synths, and circuit bent devices, Prometheus Burning attacks you with a full scale sonic assault upon the senses. Operating from the fringe and defying definition, they forge an aggressive and eccentric sound that often blurs the line between electronic genres, from dancefloor killing beats to complex chaotic noise.
