'Pound Dogs' in the NY Television Festival & Here Comes Your 'Barking Dog' Ringtone!
The Pound Dogs cartoon has been selected as a finalist in this year's New York Television Festival pilot competition!
The cartoon will be competing against five other cartoons for two cable network development deals. Details can be found at http://www.nytvf.com/2011_ipc_selections.htm. And hey, while you're at it, go to NYTVF's YouTube page and watch the Pound Dogs trailer repeatedly!
One of the backer rewards that will be going to just about everybody that supported this project is a ringtone of Ryan Williams and Sean Parrot barking like dogs. I will be emailing that file out this evening to the address that you provided to Kickstarter.
I am actually sending two versions of the ringtone, but I cannot honestly believe that any of you are going to put it on your phones! But if you do... I won't judge you.

POUND DOGS Trailer Now Available
All,
While I am writing this, the last shots of Pound Dogs are being rendered. Although I will probably make some final tweaks in the next few weeks, a version of the cartoon will be submitted to the NY Television Festival this week. The above link is for the cartoon trailer that is accompanying the entry, with music by the Monika Herzig Acoustic Trio.
This is may be the only short film trailer you see this year where cat poop is mentioned. If it's not, well, what you watch in the privacy of your own home is between you and your Maker...
