About this project
Hello! Thank you so much for visiting the project page. Last year I made the jump from construction worker to full time musician and it has been amazing. I've actually been through the emotional and musical fire so to speak, and have decided that this is where my heart is.
A few months ago, i played a show and afterwords i got an email from someone who was there that said "Thank you sooooooo much for coming and playing for us!! You're music touched my heart and made me feel like all these worries in life I have are going to be okay."
That is why I do this, cause thats what music does to ME. And if I can be a part of making a small change in peoples hearts, count me in. I am ready. It is finally time to GO FOR IT!
YOU deserve a well recorded, well produced album and its time to make that happen. I want to put out this album as much as Brett Farve wants to take back that picture message. HOW I PLAN TO DO IT
I have a studio and producer lined up to record a 6-7 song EP. December and January are going to be big recording months for me. The whole time is going to be so fun/intense/draining/amazing.
I want YOU to be a part of it because I am totally accountable to you if I am going to be asking for your assistance with funding. My goal is to let everyone feel like they are basically involved and included in the whole process. When the record is done, I will immediately distribute it to the people who supported the project, after that it will be available on iTunes and my website. In the spring, i already have 60 -70 dates booked all across the country where i will do a University Tour to get this music out to as many people as possible.
WHAT THE MONEY IS FOR
Recording is expensive. Production is expensive. I want to make this World Class for you guys. 7000 dollars will cover studio time, engineer fees, and producer fees. Who knows, if we go above and beyond the goal, it could very well turn into a full length album because i could afford to do more songs!

Preston Pugmire is a musician that plays acoustic pop music. He plays stuff that is inspired by acts like David Gray, Coldplay and Damien rice. He has been touring a lot over the last year or so and has played many clubs and campuses across the country. He is currently one of the top booked and fastest rising musical acts in the college market and has seen a lot of success in that circuit.
Preston has shared the stage with acts such as Peter Breinholt, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Howie Day, Sherwood, and We Shot the Moon and Cary Judd. He looks to play over 100 shows this next year and you just might see him in your town.
