In celebration of 15 years making roots reggae, rocksteady and ska music, we are launching production on our seventh full-length album, a collection of approximately ten to fifteen new songs.
Please help us release this album with a pledge. Be the first to get the new music. You will receive great additional rewards at the higher pledge levels.
If we reach our goal, we will release the new album in mid-2012 in digital and physical formats. Funds raised will pay for studio time, mixing, mastering, artwork, and production of CD's. If we raise funds above our target, we will consider issuing a vinyl LP release of the new album.

Pressure Cooker is a nine piece reggae/ska/rocksteady band from Boston. The group writes, records, and performs original songs in the styles of 60's and 70's Jamaican music. The group formed in 1997. The band has released six full-length CDs and performed alongside notable roots reggae artists including Toots & the Maytals, Burning Spear, Gregory Isaacs, The Wailers, Prince Buster, Derrick Morgan, The Skatalites, Culture and others. Their newest recording, "What She Wants", was released by Jump Up Records in late January 2009.
