Hello there Everyone!! My name is Predice Hendricks! and I am so very excited to be able to share my story with you in hopes that you may decide to want to help keep moving this vision forward!!

The concept came to me back in 1991... I noticed that when playing my Acoustic guitar, I found myself wanting to do things on my Acoustic guitar like  I do on my electric guitar with the whammy bar (being able to hold and vibrato whole chords, not just notes!). I found this could not be achieved because there were no Acoustic guitars with tremolo systems that I could find on the market. 

Years later, while employed in a large music store, I began to research many of the companies that we dealt with at that time, (Martin, Taylor, Gibson, Fender, Washburn, Ibanez, Takamine, Oscar Schmitt, and others) and again, I found there was not one on the market! That's when I conceived the idea and began to design the "Acoustic Tremolo" system!

In 2002, with the aid of the "Carlos Villamar Law Firm", we were able to start the tedious process of filing the Patent. Upon performing the patent search, it was found that only a few designs of tremolo's for Acoustics had ever been attempted, and NONE had been designed like this one!  It features an improved tremolo system practicable for use with Acoustic guitars! It's unique design from the internal support frame assembly eliminates undue stress exerted on the Acoustic guitars hollow body when the tremolo system is in use. This design is unique and innovative!  A CUT ABOVE THE REST!

Over the next several years, diligence and determination began to pay off as we reached "Patent Pending" status in 2007! Continuing  paying dues, remaining patient and staying focused...  on JUNE 2nd, of 2011, OFFICIAL "PATENT" STATUS WAS ACHIEVED!!!   US2011/0126690A1    Yes, the whole process did take awhile due to the fact that most of this was financed myself and with the help of my wife and our band "That's Cool & Stuff" playing and touring, but the ending result was well worth it!

Through the powers that be, I was connected to Boot Arreola, Owner of B.A. Ferguson Guitars in Hartsville, SC.  We are CURRENTLY IN PROCESS of building Prototype #1. It's about half way completed. We are both facing financially difficulties which has slowed down our progress just to be able to showcase this one. Then... KICKSTARTER found its way to into my life!... The thought of having backer support has opened a new door of HOPE and AMAZING POTENTIALS!

MY GOAL...WITH YOUR HELP, is to not only complete Prototype #1...but to also build 2 more prototypes and HAVE ALL 3  READY TO PREMIER at the N.A.M.M. (National Association of Musical Merchants) show July 19-21, 2012 in Nashville, TN as well! What better place to introduce a new Acoustic guitar than Nashville, TN.!

Prototype #1 is the "Standard Acoustic"  model which gives you the availability of using the Acoustic Tremolo system on the basic style of acoustic (no cutaway, no electric) adding in minimal extras to keep the cost down but still give you this "cut-above-the-rest" features! 

Prototype #2 is the "Acoustic Bass" model which will show the invention's designs versatility that it can not only be incorporated into the Acoustic Guitar...but also be designed to work on other Hollow-Bodied stringed instruments as well! 

Prototype #3 is the "PH Balanced Lead Acoustic" model which will show the invention using all the added extra features that I have incorporated to create THE ULTIMATE GUITAR! Here's just a few of its added features (for the musicians out there): Sperzol locking tuners, LSR roller nut, partially scalloped fret board, and my own design the "stabilizer unit"  which offers 3 different bridge settings (Fixed, standard, and floating) as well as quick and easy alternate tuning settings with the use of the stabilizers height adjustment screws and notation rings. The stabilizer also has a preset feature which allows for quick resetting of the bridges tension when a string breaks. (click on the above patent link for more details on this).

Last year I was the featured guitarist for B.A. Ferguson Guitars at the N.A.M.M show.. While I was there, I was able to make many connections with manufacturers, guitar magazines, and other Music Merchants. After talking with many of them, all showed an interest and are waiting in anticipation to see and hear the premier of this new Acoustic Tremolo Guitar Line! Having these three prototypes at the N.A.M.M.  will show the "Acoustic Tremolo's" AMAZING ATTRIBUTES and will make a BIG impression at its premier! 

At this point in the process, I can only say that I believe it was meant for me to find 'KICKSTARTER' and I feel confident in knowing that the right persons are out there that will see this and will support this project! 

This project has been launched for ONLY 21 DAYS and it ends on March 16th, at 10:01pm! I have placed the amount to be raised as conservative as possible to make it achievable in this time frame. We have ALOT to do in a short amount of time! and this is the thing... HOW KICKSTARTER WORKS IS...If I don't meet my "project goal amount" in the time allotted... Then I get NOTHING through Kickstarter! (and you will not be charged anything). So Time is of the Essence!! (But this does not mean it will stop the progress of this guitar making it to market, it will just take longer)  So, I Hope You Decide To Back This Project and Help Manifest This Vision Into A Reality!! 

Through its uniqueness in technical features and ease of playing... the "Acoustic Tremolo" will enhance any guitarist abilities and elevate them to a whole new DIMENSION of playing!
