To our beloved friends, fans and supporters,

pow wow! is a NYC (via NJ) band that's been active since late 2008, and created quite a stir amongst music fans & tastemakers alike in the music scene throughout the course of 2009 & early 2010. 100+ shows and a 9 month break later, pow wow! is back at it again, this time with their sights on releasing their much anticipated full length record.
Having done 4 self produced & recorded Singles & EP's (You Are My Friend, My Foe, 23 19, So Weird & Tigerlily and a compilation of those tracks: A's B's & C's) of which 1000 handmade physical copies were made available for free at shows + downloadable online (http://powwow.bandcamp.com), we are finally ready to record and release our first full-length album!

That's where you come in! As an independent, unsigned band, with the money you help us raise, we plan to record, master &  press our album on on 12" vinyl, alongside making album covers (including alternate cover art), inserts as well as setting up distribution worldwide. If you've enjoyed our free music, be it live, or as MP3s, your kind donation will help us make this long anticipated project a reality! Any extras made after meeting the funding for our record will go towards our first national tour of the United States to support the album. Thank you in advance for your generosity and patronage.
